How many pubs can say they have their own craft brewery company? Not many, that’s for sure.

Originally a private residence, Harts Pub was almost demolished in 1900 after the whole Rocks district was made the scapegoat after an outbreak of the bubonic plague! Luckily, the buildings remained, and were renovated and opened as the public house we all know and love today.

At Harts, you really get a proper pub experience; their chef has tailored a menu – which includes burgers and steaks the size of your face – that cleverly matches with the craft beer flowing.

Ah, yes, let’s talk beer: as one of Sydney’s best pubs for people who really know their beer, since 2009, Harts has been the home of the Rocks Brewing Company. With 12 tap beers and 2 old-fashioned hand pumps, we promise you, there’s an ale to suit every palate! Plus, there’s also 8 ever-changing guest taps bringing you the best beers that Australia has to offer.

12 craft beers, a beer garden, 7 plasma screens, great food, and a totally chilled environment – home is where the Harts is.
