Bobby Womack’s New Track – ‘The Bravest Man In The Universe’

U.S. soul star Bobby Womack has unveiled his brand new track ‘The Bravest Man In The Universe.’ The title track is taken from his forthcoming album due for release via XL Recordings/Remote Control on 8th June.

The record is Womack’s first original material single since 1994’s ‘Resurrection’ and was co-produced by Damon Albarn and Richard Russell. The album was recorded at Albarn’s Studio 13 in West London and New York’s Manhattan Centre between October and December 2011.

A new Bobby Womack mini-documentary has also emerged online courtesy of Remote Control, giving a very special glimpse behind the scenes at the making of The Bravest Man In The Universe. Directed by Jamie-James Medina, the mini-documentary features footage of Bobby in the studio during the album sessions in late 2011.
