Booka Shade Australian Live Tour And New Single

Australia’s favourite Frankfurt duo Booka Shade, are returning this summer and bringing with them a brand new single ‘I Go, I Go’, released on their own imprint Blaufield Music.

Walter and Arno of Booka Shade can be considered one of the key pioneers to fuse dance and electronic music with heavier sonic elements of techno and deep house. Whether listening to their old works with their debut album ‘Memento’ in 2004 or their most recent album ‘Cut The Strings’ released in 2018, their work remains to be forward thinking genre-bending music, that manages to make techno and dance genres as a whole a lot more accessible to audiences. They might be considered a heritage act, but there is still life left in Booka Shade as shown by their inclusion last year into DJ Mag’s Top 100 House and Techno Acts. Booka Shade continues to gain support internationally, almost 20 years since they first formed.
