There’s just five weeks to go until the Gold Coast becomes awash with the frothy good time that will be Crafted Beer & Cider Festival. Cups will be runeth over as their line up expands with MORE brewers, MORE bands, MORE food trucks and last but not yeast, the addition of their luxe Chandon S Spritz Pop Up Bar. With final release tickets now on sale, punters are being told to buy ‘the schooner the better’ as early bird tickets sold out in record time.
Launching Saturday November 4, Crafted Festival shines a beacon on local brewers from the Gold Coast, South East Queensland and interstate, it’s an afternoon and evening celebration of all things beer and cider. Crafted Festival celebrates everything about the joy a truly magnificent small batch can bring.
Today, Crafted Festival announce a slew of additions to their liquid line up. Further adding to the run of South East QLD brewers are Green Beacon Brewing Co. & Aether Brewing, both from Brisbane, along with Newtown’s Young Henrys and Mt Tamborine’s Beard & Brau.
Not into beer? Crafted Festival is proud to partner with the best in the bubbly game, Chandon and today announces the addition of the Chandon S Spritz Pop Up Bar. Serving up their signature reinterpretation of the classic, featuring zingy notes of orange and subtle spices, the Chandon S pop up bar is the perfect place for a sparkling sundowner in the shady comfort of Chandon’s plush bean bags. In good company, the Chandon S Pop Up Bar joins pioneering Margaret River winery, Cape Mentelle in the festivities.
New to the already stacked musical line up are Brisbane surf-pop/rockers Shag Rock, Byron Bay reggae/hip hop quintet Drop Legs, local indie-rockers Eliza & The Delusionals, alt-rock quartet The Maslows, GC-based soulful acoustic duo Azmosphere and Beatniks DJs of the Broadbeach favourite Beatniks Records. But wait, there’s more! Crafted Festival would not be complete without a convoy of food trucks, this year featuring organic street food experts Food Kartel, gourmet fries and hot dog dealers The Weiner Haus, wingmen Cychos Buffalo Wings, African-inspired fresh foodies A Taste of Africa, Latin American flavoured caravan Little Wahaca, and cheese platter artists, Cheese & Deli Kitchen.
