Ed Sheeran – Drunk (Rudimental Remix) – Review
With four Brit award nominations it’s safe to say Ed Sheeran is quickly becoming one of the biggest UK solo artists, and rightly so. Having released numerous EPs independently since 2005 and touring non-stop since moving to London in 2008 Ed Sheeran has grafted hard for the recognition he deserves.
Unsurprisingly, with his tracks receiving further success, this has brought with it endless amounts of remix’s from producers from across the UK. And recently his new single Drunk got picked up by London based collective Rudimental. The four DJ’s and producers have given the track a drum n’bass flavour, while still keeping the core elements of the single, laying over a large horn section. Rudimental are a real up and coming underground outfit, producing an original sound. And as if Sheeran even needed it, will no doubt make it big in the club scene.
