Ellie Young: Live Portrait Studio – 10th September- 6th October 2013

Always fancied having your portrait painted? Well, this September 2013 the DegreeArt space is open 12-6pm daily for bookings as artist Ellie Young sets out on a mission to have the walls filled with people. The space will be open for a private view on the 24th September 2013 6-8:30pm daily.

Ellie graduated from the University of Wales Institute in Cardiff back in 2011 and has put on many shows and exhibitions showcasing her talent since then. Ellie uses film stills as her inspiration and explores ways of capturing passing time and transcience through her work.

The space will be used as a way to record everything and everyone she meets within the two week exhibition in order to extend the residency beyond the space itself and to document the community to advertise the space.
