You’ll head off to two different destinations, both ideal for snorkelling and perfect for discovering the unique underwater world. Explore the Great Barrier Reef’s remarkable array of marine life and rare coral on this day trip that takes you to all the best spots.

Your trip takes you to Mackay and Undine Reefs – destinations that provide a stunning setting and the perfect conditions for snorkelling. In both these spots there is ample opportunity to take a dip with the native sea turtles, which are typically found leisurely swimming over reefs full of colourful coral. You will also see schools of tropical fish, eagle rays, giant clams and starfish in these parts. Above water, marvel at the view of the Daintree Forest and the dense forestry that stretches along the coast – a striking balance between the turquoise waters and the lush green of the rainforest.

The Ocean Safari vessel is based on the original design of a rescue craft and is a rigid inflatable boat driven by 700hp engines meaning you’ll be zipping along the coastline. The vessel takes a maximum of 25 passengers, so you are free to enjoy this tropical paradise with an intimate group.

The tour is also a personalised expedition, with your own skipper who is experienced in guiding punters around the Great Barrier Reef and showing the best of the local habitat. Your guide will always be sure to respect the world heritage sites of the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest.
