Expatriate ‘Do You Remember’ Remix Competition

Follow us on Google News

Expatriate have been party-hopping. Whether it be Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne the foursome have been going from one city to the next and back again to remind Australia why they are our favourite expatriates. Currently in the middle of their three-week club night residencies, they are firmly back on home soil. And what better way to celebrate than throwing another track in to the party playlist, and asking everyone to send it back with their own spin on it.

The Sydney group have cut loose their new single ‘Do You Remember’ to the online world and have asked those who know their way around a mixing desk to send a remix of the track their way. The track’s stems-from their forthcoming album “Hyper/Hearts”-is now available from the band’s facebook page. Whether you’re a budding producer or just like to play around on Garageband, they want to hear from you.

The remixes will be sent directly back to the band, who, after some intensive listening, reviewing and critiquing, will choose the winner. The winning remix will then be streamed on Expatriate’s official website, facebook and soundcloud accounts. It will also be sent to club DJs, media and the rest of the music industry for play. To top it all off, the crowned winner will also earn themselves a $200 JB Hi-Fi voucher.

For full competition details and to download the stems, head over to the band’s official Facebook page

Expatriate’s ‘Do You Remember’ is taken from their forthcoming album “Hyper/Hearts” out July 6, 2012 via Dew Process / Universal.
