Faker – How Did We Not Get Loved

After finishing their brand new record Get Loved in April, Nathan and Nic from Faker felt a part of the story was missing. So in June, they headed back into the studio (well, the studio in their living room), with their new band-mates Liam and Chris, and recorded three new songs in the space of a week.

How Did We Not Get Loved is the result – a prequel EP to the full length record, and a five track collection featuring two album tracks and three brand new tracks. It tells a different story: it looks at the darker side of relationships and loves lost.

The EP reveals the lead single from Get Loved; Hearts to Break. The track, a guitar driven synth pop song, is instantly recognisbale as Faker, but introduces elements of the electro influences present through the Get Loved project. Hearts To Break is at radio Monday 10 October.

Along with the previously released fan track Back When Solvents, the single will be included on the first part of the Get Loved puzzle – How Did We Not Get Loved.
