Finance Manager Job In Melbourne

Our client, a large financial institution in Melbourne CBD are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join them.

The Finance Manager role will involve being responsible for delivering assurance over key financial reporting process and controls across the business. The team you will be part of is responsible for formulation and monitoring of accounting and finance policies and internal controls. Accountable for assurance over financial reporting processes by delivering robust, accurate, complete and timely reporting and control evaluations.

The role will involve applying risk and accounting concepts to assess financial reporting risk, executing testing of key controls and to influence change in the standard of control and risk management.

To be considered for this role you will be CA or CPA certified preferably from a large professional services background. You will have a strong knowledge of the financial service industry and have a strong knowledge of External and internal audit and strong technical knowledge of accounting standards. You will have strong analytical and problem solving abilities and be able to deal with senior level stakeholders.
