Future Classic To Release New Album

Sydney-based dance music collective Future Classic is set to release its first official DJs compilation September 10.

Produced by Future Classic DJs, comprised of Nathan McLay, Chad Gillard and James McInnes, the compilation is brimming with previously unreleased tracks exclusive to the release. The offering includes specially created originals and remixes by Danny Daze, DJ T, Perseus, Soul Clap, Flume, Softwar, Pharao Black Magic, Slow Hands, Tigerskin and Worst Friends.

The compilation encompasses Future Classic’s eclectic range of sound, from summer-flavoured beach jams, heavy club tunes and jangly indie-surf rock. The release coincides with the launch of Beatport’s new ‘mixes’ platform where you will find the complete DJ mix (recorded live at the Beatport office in Berlin), while the unmixed exclusive tracks are available in store as a standalone release. Those not willing to wait until the release date can get it early as a pre-release exclusive on Beatport. There is also a 12-inch vinyl sampler.

Future Classic have played host to some of the world’s biggest indie dance touring artists bringing The Whitest Boy Alive, Sebastien Tellier, Mount Kimbie, John Talabot, Tensnake, The Magician, Classixx, Holy Ghost! and Little Dragon to Australia. 2012 has seen the label bring German house veteran Isolee and NYC’s Jacques Renault to Australia to headline Future Classic’s late night show at the Opera House as part of this years iconic Vivid Live Festival.
