Generik Is Back
Generik rerturns with new music and US tour
Following on from the success of his number 1 club chart hit ‘The Weekend’ Generik is back with ‘Late At Night’.
Melbourne’s Gererik aka Tyson O’Brien is one of dance music’s larger than life hero’s and right now he’s busy making 2016 his biggest year to date. After claiming the number one spot in the ARIA Club Charts five weeks running, with his debut single ‘The Weekend’ ft. Nicky Van She, Generik is returning this year with a mountain of new music recorded in both his native Melbourne and his adopted home of Los Angeles.
‘Late At Night’ is another one of Generik’s hits with his trademark good vibes and a freewheeling message. He is planning on releasing two more original tracks later this year featuring Need U 100% vocalist A*M*E and local legends The Aston Shuffle. Also coming up are a bunch of new remixes, adding to the edits already done for Glantis, Dillon Francis & Kygo and Hayden James. Generik is renowned for producing music that gets people moving at festivals or inside rammed clubs.
This year has seen the professional producer/DJ land a residency at Las Vegas super club Omnia, supporting superstar DJ Calvin Harris. He was actually handpicked by Harris himself, after the pair first met and hit it off six years prior. Generik is also about to embark on a tour across North America playing shows everywhere from Miami super club LIV to Life In Colour festival – not to mention ruling the main stage around Australia with Stereosonic. Big things are planned for this Australian gem this year so keep an eye out for anything he touches.
