Go All Night by Gorgon City featuring Jennifer Hudson

With the DJ/Production duo blowing up in 2014, they now release the fourth single ‘Go All Night’ from their debut album ‘Sirens’ which sees Gorgon City and Jennifer Hudson comes together for a party anthem.

An unlikely pairing, Hudson’s vocals sink effortlessly in to the dance track as they hold the melody solidly throughout. Of course Gorgon City’s signature piano chords, peaks and drops, and flitting midi are all present, making for an anthemic ambiance. The track starts off stripped back with Hudson’s vocals, backed by a pulsing beat before the chords make for a grand entrance.

The pace of the track is fairly even and bobs along at a somewhat “pleasant” rate. There’s certainly no made surprises coming from this release, but it’s inoffensive and easy on the ears… and definitely gives J-Hud a bit more street cred!
