James Blake To Play Melbourne

James Blake to make appearance in Melbourne This July

English musical superstar James Blake is set to entertain Melbourne this July with a show planned at Margaret Court Arena. Blake has just finished contributing to Beyonce’s latest album and putting together a track with Bon Iver.

At the early age of 22-years-old, James Blake released the visionary EP CMYK, while his self titled album a year later, earned him unanimous praise and worldwide success. His first two albums revealed his innovative musical identity and the constants of his sound; crisp production, mastery of bass frequencies, the combination of organic and digital elements, his natural talent on the piano and his hypnotic vocals. These attributes were amply demonstrated on second album Overgrown, deservedly winning him the Mercury Music Prize which led to a Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist.

Blake will be using his huge cinematic show to showcase tracks from his upcoming third album, Radio Silence.

Blake is down under to headline Splendor In The Grass festival but will be playing several side shows.
