Pig ‘N’ Whistle Riverside will be THE place to be in Brisbane when the British and Irish Lions Tour kicks off in Australia. The venue, ideally located on the river’s edge and in the heart of the CBD, has been officially named as the supporter’s headquarters for international and local fans of the code.
All matches will be screened live on multiple plasma screens in full HD accompanied with projectors to really bring the audio of the game to life.
Pig ‘N’ Whistle is not treating their exclusive headquarters status lightly; to increase the atmosphere and experience of the tour the team will also introduce special menus and unique beers. They will also be holding regular singing competitions of team anthems.
While watching the games, enjoy meals by Yorkshire lad and head chef Craig Watson who has created a menu with a number of authentic and traditional dishes that would make any British and Irish fan feel right at home. Dishes include real English pork pies and Cornish pasties, served with traditional mustard, chutneys and relishes. Other dishes include slow braised steak and Guinness pie, authentic faggots, homemade Lincolnshire sausages and creamy mash and of course the popular liver, bacon and onions complete with proper Yorkshire puddings.
