LL Cool J To Release 14th Studio Album This Year 26th April 2013 sees the 14th full length release of one of Rap music’s most iconic figures. LL Cool J rose to prominence in the 1980’s as Def Jam Recordings flagship artist, releasing a slew of albums throughout the 80’s and 90’s making him the first rap artist to release ten consecutive platinum selling albums.

‘Authentic’ sees the return of LL to his versatile best, with club hits, personal tracks, tributes and songs aimed at tackling the current state of hip-hop. Lead single ‘Whaddup’ received positive reviews upon release, with the rappers trademark bars about the finer things in life still pleasing his old school fans.
