Darwin Festival is a unique celebration of the arts and the community that nourishes.
The biggest calendar event in the Northern Territory, the festival takes place over 18 days. This year you will have the chance to see over 150 acts including; physical performance pieces, indigenous rituals, live music and some grade A Australian Comedy with the likes of Peter Helliar performing.
A plethora of musical acts will be scattered across the e showgrounds for the duration of the festival to serenade you with a culturally diverse selection of music.

Top Acts To Look Out For at the Darwin Festival 2016
PETER HELLIAR
The star from Rove and The Project and an Australian comedic legend in his own right delivers a live stand up set on the 5th and 6th of August starting at 7pm in The Lighthouse.
MOSES GUNN COLLECTIVE
The psychedelic rock extravaganza band will deliver their kaleidoscopic tunes of vibrance and power on the 5th of August from 8:45pm in The Lighthouse.
NATIONAL INDIGENOUS MUSIC AWARDS
Indigenous musicians from across Australia will gather together to celebrate not only a good year in local and national music but the progression of the indigenous arts. It takes place on the 6th of August at the Amphitheatre.
It all kicks off on the 4th of August and will carry on until the 21st. Although the main festival grounds that will host the bulk of the activity will be Festival Park in Darwin, venues across the city will also be hosting particular events.
