Major Lazer Announce New Album

The makers behind big beats and huge productions, Major Lazer will be releasing new album, ‘Peace Is The Mission’, on 1st June 2015.

Launching as an underground indie project, Diplo, Walshy Fire and Jillionaire have created a successful global pop-reggae-hip-hop mash of music. The sound of Major Lazer is unmistakable, from 2009’s ‘Pon de Floor’ to ‘Bubble Butt’ in 2013, and most recently heard on their collaboration with DJ Snake and MØ, ‘Lean On’. The new album will feature even more names from a range of musical genres including Ellie Goulding, Pusha T, Tarrus Riley and Chronixx, as well as a reworking of ‘All My Love’ from the Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Pt 1 soundtrack featuring Ariana Grande and Machel Montano.

Major Lazer will be touring all over this year, with shows already confirmed at Wireless Festival in the UK, Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas, Tinderbox Festival in Denmark, and on the Mad Decent Boat Party from Miami, Florida to Cozumel, Mexico between 11th and 15th November.
