Maltesers Moonlight Cinema Returns
Put a twist on your usual cinema trip by watching a film under the stars, Maltesers Moonlight Cinema has announced the first half of its eagerly awaited 2013/14 program, there’s something for everyone with advance previews, contemporary, classic and cult films. So for those of you in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Port Douglas or Sydney, get your picnic blanket and popcorn at the ready. (And don’t be the person with the blow up sofa who sits right at the front).
Advance previews include Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues; Philomena; Frozen; August: Osage County; and the biographical dramas, Saving Mr Banks and Railway Man. These tickets are sure to go fast though so get booking now!
Cult classics including The Castle and Monty Python’s Life of Brian and Dirty Dancing, would make perfect viewing with a group of your best friends; you’ll know all the words and the moves. Re-enacting every dance along with Baby and Johnny might result in a few popcorn kernels to the head though.
Adult tickets are priced at $18, except for Thursdays when a ticket will only cost you $12. For something special, snap up a Gold Grass ticket. You’ll be feeling very smug lounging in a reserved bean bed in a premium viewing location on the lawn. These are pricier at $32, but worth every penny if it means a close up view of Liam Hemsworth in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
Tickets are on sale now and can be bought online at www.moonlight.com.au or at your nearest Maltesers Moonlight Cinema box office.
