Mandala Festival Brings The Magic

Mandala Festival is a brand new and adventurous holiday for all the family that has a theatrical, artistic and musical twist. The team behind Eindhoven’s Extrema brings Mandala to us from June 3rd to June 6th 2016 at Holiday Park De Bergen in the Netherlands. The setting is hundreds of hectares of rolling green land with a beach, a pool and plenty of enchanting forests, and the whole place will come alive with a carefully curated section of retreats, parties, artisan foods and delicious drinks.

Mandala is about celebrating the beauty of family, and you are free to visit, build, play, dance and more. Everyone can experience the adventure in their own way. Full of surprises and international artistic beauty, here are small music area’s with music ranging from electronic music to hiphop to singer-songwriters. All genres are welcome! Besides that, there are more than a hundred artistic Creators to feed your senses.

In the night, Mandala changes to a beautiful, visual light art festival in the magical forest, on the water and the surrounding beach. Build a campfire and enjoy the night away. With a unique spirit at Mandala, the feeling of love for the environment will be evident, with aims to recycle all waste generated. With the feeling of freedom being able to pitch your tent and dance anywhere you like, you can pick to set up camp on the lush beach, in the charming forest or even in a dream tree house.

With music on the beach and pop-up parties in the forest as well as chefs, bars and performances by renowned artists. There will be no massive stages, but a gathering in nature with a total of 13 different tribes, each with a unique theme. With seven of these tribes already revealed on mandalafestival.com, there will be more tribes revealed each week leading up. This is a totally self-growing community with music, art, games, workshops, sport, yoga, wellness and loads of colourful entertainment all on offer, and all dreamt up by artistic ‘Creators’, their friends, and you: the crowd.

Explore, socialise, party, learn and just have fun. Mandala is for all the lovely and nice people on our planet. For those with children there is the possibility of staying on a separate, safe and entertaining campsites and for those who prefer not to sleep in regular tents, you can stay in a teepee or luxurious accommodation that includes a shower and toilet. The festival will even feature yoga, hot tubs, saunas and massages, an escape room and light art.
