New Spotify Apps To Find You Your Perfect Date

Spotify’s new apps stick their middle fingers up at dating sites as the apps are here to find you your soul mate. The first app is ‘Tastebuds’ where your potential partner can be found based on the artists and playlists you are listening to. Alex Parish, Co-founder of Tastebuds.fm points out the fact they have “found that 43% of first messages from one person to another gets a reply on ‘Tastebuds’ – a much higher response rate than non-music based dating sites.”

Flirting has been taken to new levels with the other new app from Spotify named ‘Fellody’. The matching process is based on a detailed analysis of the users’ taste in music by scanning their iTunes, Windows-Media-Player-libraries or alternatively with their Last.fm- or Spotify-account. Robin Simon, Co-founder of Fellody.com revealed that since they launched, their international user base is growing very fast – music lovers from more than 70 different countries talk, discuss and flirt on Fellody already.
