Niche Productions Presents Hold Tight At Oxford Art Factory

Niche Productions presents their next instalment of Hold Tight, their blockbuster brand for all things Beats, at their spiritual home of Oxford Art Factory on the Saturday, August 4.

This edition of Hold Tight will be laying off on the hard and fast BPMs and instead taking in a breath to take note of who’s got next in the realm of Hip Hop and Beats.

Artists on the healthy international line-up include: California’s Jonwayne, fellow Californian Mono/Poly, Berlin’s Suff Daddy and Japan’s own MFP.

Jonwayne  is one of the newest members of Stones Throw’s current roster of LA based talent. Making his name as a quirky beat-smith, it was soon discovered his prowess on the mic was also somewhat elephantine too.

Mono/Poly is a fellow Los Angelian whose beat work has graced an impressive roster of labels like Warp, Planet Mu and Brainfeeder. His characteristically dark but funky beats have gathered support from the likes of Thom Yorke, Erykah Badu, Mary Anne Hobbs and Benji B.

Suff Daddy is amongst Germany’s most prolific Hip Hop producers from the Melting Pot Music stable. Bringing the all ’round head nod, Suff Daddy’s live sets incorporate all of his material including his incredible unauthorised Hip Hop remixes.

Finally Japan’s MPF whose music features a pulsating soul bellowing out from cosmic jams that is so neck-snappingly sincere, you know it’s special.

Don’t miss some of the world’s most exciting producers DJing, laying down beats live and in the case of jonwayne, maybe even MCing.
