O2 Tracks Allows Lady Gaga Fans To Stream ‘ARTPOP’
In a turn of events that has sent Lady Gaga’s ‘monsters’ sticking their paws up in a fit of excited ecstasy, the Pop Princess has allowed her impending new album release ARTPOP to be streamed online via O2 Tracks from the 5th November 2013; six whole days before it’s official release date.
This exciting incident occurred after O2 and Polydor Records embarked on an exclusive partnership with Miss Gaga, allowing O2 customers a chance to be the first listeners to the album before general release on the 11th November 2013 – simultaneously leaving the usual big guns like iTunes and Spotify trailing behind in shame.
The O2 Tracks app was previously renowned for giving O2 customers unlimited access to the Official Top 40 Singles Chart for just £1 a week, but now it seems that Gaga fans on any other network provider will be kicking themselves in fury! However, fear not – apparently the app is available on all mobile devices, no matter what network provider they’re on!
This O2 Tracks campaign is also receiving a great deal of attention and support via social media, as both Lady Gaga’s and O2’s Twitter channels are continuously using the hashtag #gagaexclusive to whip fans into a frenzy.
Twitter is now overrun with fans proclaiming their opinions on this new release – with some even claiming: “It’s the best album I’ve ever heard!!!”.
Hmm, debateable – but probably worth a listen nonetheless!
