Ones To Watch At Campfire Festival 2015
Some of the most talented Australian country musicians and singers are heading to Campfire Festival this year, and from 13th – 15th March, you could see and hear them play the tunes that have made them loved across the country. Just watch the following musicians take to the stage and you will be returning to Campfire Festival year after year.
Chelsea Basham
The best new country talent to come from Western Australia, Chelsea Basham only released her debut album in 2012, but ‘I Make My Own Sunshine’ has garnered her recognition from fans nationwide. A pretty young thing with an upbeat outlook (just look at her album title), she’s an artist worth her salt and is a bright spark on stage.
Christie Lamb
The most recent debutante of country music, Christie Lamb released her very first album, ‘All She Wrote’ last year, which shot her straight into the stratosphere. Strictly a professional, she studied music at the University of Western Sydney and travelled to Nashville to write her songs and hone her craft.
Shannon Noll
More than 10 years after finishing as runner-up in the first series of Australian Idol, Shannon Noll has separated himself from the song contest with five top 10 albums and even more top 10 singles. From his first album, ‘That’s What I’m Talking About’, to the unforgettable 2014 track, ‘We Only Live Once’, Noll has returned to the mainstream music scene with a bang.
Ash Grunwald
Heralded as an Australian blues stalwart, Ash Grunwald is an icon of his generation, combining blues and dancefloor beats with rock, hip hop and dubstep. With seven studio albums under his hat, his new album is due for release soon, and is expected to follow in the same vein and style as ‘Hot Mama Vibes’ and ‘Trouble’s Door’.
