He Is A Dancing Purple Disco Machine

German funk-master Purple Disco Machine is heading to Australia for a six-date tour. 

Inspired by the soulful groove of the 70s and 80s and the bumping house of the 90s, PDM is known  for his contemporary take on disco – even taking it all the way to Beatport’s top ten charts. Things really kicked off for him with the release of ‘My House’ in 2013, the track made it to #1 on the deep house top 10, and since then almost everything he’s released has charted in one way or another. Even as we speak Purple Disco Machine has two tracks in the Indie Dance/Nu Disco chart, one of which is sitting pretty at #1. To make things even better, he has a new album on the way in 2017 which will undoubtedly project him further into the liege of house royalty. Among many credentials, PDM was named Magnetic Mag Underground’s ‘Artist of the Year’ in 2015 who acknowledged that “if 2015 had a shape and a sound, it would be Purple Disco Machine”.

As 2016 comes to a close, Purple Disco Machine is heading to Aus to help us see in teh enw year. He’ll be playing at the huge Beyond The Valley Festival on December 29 before he heads to the Melbourne coast to play the Portsea Hotel on the 30th. He’ll be taking things deep at Café Del Mar in Sydney on the 31st, in preparation for a NYD show in Perth for the All My Friends event alongside artists like Mano Le Tough and Claptone. Finally he will head back east to play Pawn and Co in Melbourne on January 6th, after which he will finish his tour on the 7th of Jan in Adelaide at a venue TBC. Put your dancing shoes on friends, things are about to get funky.
