
Red Bull Music Academy Release TA-KU Documentary
June 12th sees Perth’s own Ta-Ku invites us into his very own exclusive Red Bull Music Academy x Boiler Room session, where he will curate and perform an intimate live performance of the visionary Beatsmith’s stunning new EP, ‘Songs To Make Up To’, set to release on the same day.
The mini documentary is the beginning of a new series of Red Bull Music Academy x Boiler Room Chronicles which will feature hand-picked artists who inspire the evolution of Regan Matthews’, aka Ta-Ku’s, distinct sound. Chronicles 002 will showcase creativity and uniqueness whilst shedding light on recent endeavours that lead Regan to his well-respected career – a journey that documents his multiple passions.
Matthews has been busy winning the hearts of bass fans all over the world with the JMSN-featuring “Love Again”, the first soulful single from his forthcoming “Songs to Make up to” EP. This week the successful Perth beatmaker release another taster from the EP with “Long Time No See”, yet another track that is sure to be on all playlists this summer.
