Secret Garden Party 2014: 24th – 27th July

Enter the garden of the truly magnificent as you wave goodbye to the 9 to 5 mundane routine and say hello to carefree dancing beneath the twinkling stars; Secret Garden Party returns this July 2014 and it’s certainly something you’re going to want to be a part of!

Gracing the beautiful Abbots Ripton in Huntingdon for Secret Garden Party 2014 – where revellers can enjoy first-hand views of rolling hills and a sparkling lake – SGP 2014 will be celebrating its tenth birthday and by the looks of the fantastic line-up, they’re throwing one hell of a celebration.

Joining the festival this year is a smorgasbord of fantastic talent, including Public Enemy, Hercules And Love Affair, Little Dragon, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Deap Vally, Morcheeba, Jagwar Ma, Submotion Orchestra, Gramatik, Foxes, Wolf Alice, We Have Band, Kate Boy, Telegram and As Elephants Are, just to name a few.

As usual, Secret Garden Party 2014 will also be sticking to its original principles and revelling in a celebration of art as well as music. Gardeners can expect to see stunning art installations and curious monuments scattered all across the secret garden, as well as theatre performances, paint fights, dance offs, mud wrestles, a debate/discussion forum, parades and much more.

Getting to Secret Garden Party could not be any easier either, with the festival organising and encouraging shared forms of transport to minimise disruption to surrounding villages and reduce negative environmental impact. With the festival located just 70 miles outside of Central London, why not hop on a Big Green Coach – departing from multiple UK cities – and start the party early, with Secret FM blasting on the radio and plenty of likeminded party-goers around to make your journey a pleasant one.

So join hands with your fellow Gardeners as you skip up the garden path and wave goodbye to the yellow brick road; this is one al fresco frolic that every festival fanatic needs to tick off of their bucket list!
