
Shihad To Play At Melbourne Cup – Monday 4th November 2013
Shihad, the alternative rock band from New Zealand are all set to perform a one off live show on Melbourne Cup eve. Exciting stuff! The band, who supported Black Sabbath earlier in the year, will be at The Espy on Monday 4th November 2013 so make sure you don’t miss it!
The band formed in 1988 and are still legends 25 years later. The rockers have had an impressive music career, having released a highly successful 38-song retrospective double disc titled ‘The Meanest Hits’ in 2012 having bagged the number 7 spot in the New Zealand charts. The release features all of their greatest hits over the years in addition to the bands personal favourites.
The band will be playing with special guests All The Colour and The Sinking Teeth both up and coming bands who will no doubt start the evening with a bang.
