Single Review: Edu Imbernon – ‘Dalt’

Edu Imbernon, DJ and owner of dance label Eklektisch is a master at carving out the perfect vibrant club mixes. First on the scene in 2009, with the release of ‘El Baile Alemán’ and further mixes with Get Physical and Suara, Valencia’s Edu Imbernon has a stellar reputation on the House music scene.

Edu’s latest single, ‘Dalt’ will be dropped later next month. The track is full of Balearic charm with echoes of Edu’s residency at Space in Ibiza shining through in its sunshine rhythms. Gathering pace for the first minute, ‘Dalt’ launches into a trademark heavy bassline, which grooves alongside gentle strings and flickering synths. ‘Dalt’ is an eight-minute long mesmerising mix, which is built around a classic House template.

‘Dalt’ comes out on Monday 21^st April alongside a remix from John Tejada.
