Single Review: Tensnake Feat. Fiora – No Relief

Renowned German DJ and producer Tensnake has unleashed yet another teaser track from his forthcoming album, which is set to release in 2014 under Virgin records. His newly released track ‘No relief’ features, once again, the voice talent of Tasmanian singer/songwriter Fiora, which will make this the third track the two artists have released together.

Marco Niemerski A.K.A Tensnake emerged onto the Electronic scene in the mid 2000’s, and has since released a number of well received EPs and collaboration hits on various record labels including his own label, Mirau. Tensnake’s career propelled further on, after his acclaimed song ‘Coma Cat’ reached #85 on the official UK singles chart and #17 on the UK Dance chart in 2010.

Tensnake’s new track ‘No relief’ should not disappoint the fans of his previous work, he has definitely stuck with his Soul and House roots on this one. With Fiora’s voice not quite as broad and consistent in this song compared to the previous songs the duo have produced together, the flawless, rhythmic drumbeats and chunky bass lines certainly fill in any gaps left by this.

Tensnake has aligned a fantastic arrangement of Groove and House elements with this release and has caused quite a stir on the Electronica scene with the release of his previous teaser tracks ‘See Right Through’ and ’58 BPM’.
