Slum Village At Let Them Eat Cake Festival
That’s right, one of Detroit’s most influential hip-hop groups, Slum Village, is set to play Let Them Eat Cake Festival in Victoria on New Year’s Day 2016.
Formed in the mid-90s by producer and rapper J-Dilla, Slum Village’s first two albums were immediately labelled classics, and their popularity has only continued to soar, leading to 8 albums and collaborations with artists such as Kanye West, A Tribe Called Quest and Busta Rhymes. Their most recent album,’Yes!’, released in July 2015, features vocals from the likes of De La Soul, Pfife Dawg and Jon Conner, and is sure to feature at the 2016 boutique festival. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see hip-hop royalty perform live.
