Splendour In The Grass Official Pre-Party

As the goliath of the Australian music festival scene finally rolls around this winter in northern NSW, the party is kicking off early once again with Secret Sounds running the official pre-party in both Byron Bay and Brisbane.

Festival heads that are already getting the jitters at all the Splendour hype will have to make sure they get a pre-party dose at The Great Northern Hotel in Byron Bay the night before they go slushing through the parklands in their wellies.

The pre-party line up is a cruel teaser of the festival itself with acts like The Avalanches, Methyl Ethel, Harts, The Kills and a Killo DJ set all hitting the cozy stage at The Great Northern.

You can also catch the Brisbane pre-party at The Triffid if you are still hanging around Queensland the night before. You will get to catch some awesome acts at the Brisbane show that will also be making an appearance at Splendour like Years and Years and Lido.

Both official pre-parties will kick off on Thursday night 21st of July so make sure you get in quick for the pre-sale running from 9am on the 13th to 8am on the 14th, and general sale will start up again on the night of the 14th. All local venue time.
