Second Subsonic Line-Up Announcement Revealed
Subsonic Music have created a stir amongst beat-loving Drum ‘n’ Bass worshippers following the reveal of the new artists set to perform at the 2013 Subsonic Music Festival during the first full weekend of December 2013.
New artists will join the already announced headliners including the legendary Nile Rodgers (AKA the co-writer of Daft Punk’s chart-topper ‘Get Lucky’) and his awesome Funk-Disco band CHIC, alongside Dub/Drum ‘n’ Bass/Reggae band Salmonella Dub.
To kick off the party at Barrington Tops on the Friday evening, Fort Knox Five will now be entertaining the crowds with their electric four-deck DJ set. Weird Together are also set to perform, following the success of their single, Drop the Brass’, reaching the Number One spot in the New Zealand ‘independent’ chart.
Alongside these favourites, Subsonic will also be introducing some new and upcoming acts to their festival-goers, as newcomers Le1F and Red Robin will drop in on the party and grace the stages with their tunes.
Sydney-based artist management/touring company Astral People are also set to guest program a section of the festival this year, increasing the hype among the locals to the extreme! Garage DJs Oneman and DJ EZ, who are both touring for Astral People, will be headlining a slot and times of these acts will be revealed during early November.
