During this busy period, an opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain and Operations Manager has become available to join their busy IT team on this long term temp assignment. You can enjoy state of the art offices in Sydney’s western suburbs, nestled amongst a buzzing café atmosphere and just a short stroll to public transport, or take advantage of included parking for those who like to drive.

Commencing immediately on this ongoing temp assignment, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Manage the logistics, distribution, purchasing and demand planning for the IT division
• Monitor the delivery orders, inventory levels and sales report
• Manage supply chain and stock related KPIs
• Demand planning/forecasting
• Liaise with product and marketing team for product launching plan and reflect marketing activities and plans to the demand planning
• Sales forecasting and analysis
• Work with product managers with launching of new product range and ensure the development schedule is reflected in the demand planning
• Assist in the production of annual budgets
• Inventory management and distribution planning
• Work with Channel Sales Manager to formalise the onboading process for authorised service centres and reseller
• Account tracking and target analysis
• Demo and marketing sample management

As the successful candidate you will have:

• Experience in a similar supply chain or sales operations role in IT, Telecommunications or Consumer Electronics
• Tertiary qualifications in a similar field
• Experience using SAP systems
• Experience with supply chain management processes
• Proven ability to achieve budgeted, revenue and specific product sales targets
• Consultative and influential selling style with an ability to sell technical products
