The Beatnuts To Play Free Espy Show

Hip-Hop royalty The Beatnuts are to play a free gig at The Espy Front Bar on Thursday 28th March 2013. Originally coming together in Queens New York in 1989, the trio consisting of Psycho Les, Ju-Ju and Fashion immediately made waves in the Hip-Hop industry wasting little time collaborating with Cypress Hill, Naughty By Nature and Pete Nice to earn themselves a contract at Combat Records.

1993 is largely considered a golden year for Hip-Hop releases with the Beatnuts playing no small part, releasing their debut mini-LP ‘Intoxicated Demons’ to solid underground success. The 90’s saw the Beatnuts master their sample heavy production style with a slew of classic albums and singles that are still on heavy rotation in clubs today. 2012 saw the duo tour Australia to promote their collaboration with the Alkaholics, fans of classic 90’s Hip-Hop can rejoice once more as the Beatnuts return down under.
