The Diary Of A Travel Blogger From New York To Lake Mackenzie
Another one in our travel blogger series, we chat to Krista Bere, a traveller that many of us can probably relate to. Bitten by the travel bug back in 2012, Krista gives us an insight into her past and future travels, which you can also see on her Instagram @kristaswanderingfootprints and her website kristaswanderingfootprints05.wordpress.com.
Name: Krista
Current Location: Brisbane
Occupation: Receptionist
Best place you’ve been to this year: I haven’t travelled this year yet, but I’m leaving for New York City on Monday.
Best cold place you’ve ever been to: I would have to say my Mum’s hometown which is about an hour’s drive from Melbourne in Victoria because most of my family are there.
Best beach you’ve laid on: Lake Mackenzie on Fraser Island. This is where I used to go with my family every year during school holidays. But I would also love to go to the Whitsundays!
Most dangerous place you’ve been to: For the time being I’m avoiding dangerous places, but the most unsafe place I have been too is downtown LA as this was where our Contiki trip started in LA.
A place you’re yet to discover: Canada and East Coast of America, which I’ll be doing over the next five weeks. I’m really looking forward to it!
