The National to perform at Sydney Opera House 7th February 2013

With overwhelming demand Sydney Opera House have announced that The National will perform a second show on the Forecourt. On 7th February 2014 the five-piece band will show Sydney their mastery of Indie-Rock sounds with meaningful lyrics. The music that explores Rock and interesting arrangements has been deemed as socially- conscious, and incomparable to any other band.

The tour comes in support of their sixth studio-album, ‘Trouble Will Find Me’ which has topped the charts. The National are synonymous with success and incredible music, having performed for President Obama and collaborated with the likes of Sufjan Stevens, Sharon Van Etten and Grizzly Bear.

Their upcoming performance will be part of the Sydney Opera House contemporary music program, Music At The House. Revered internationally by critics and fans this show will not be one to miss. Tickets are on sale now, and after selling out tickets for their first show in under an hour, this show is expected to be even more popular.
