Jude Pearl EP Preview/ Al Parkinson & Lauren Glezer

Jude Pearl is a Melbourne based singer, songwriter and pianist on the verge of releasing her debut EP “3am”. Her original funk/pop/R&B tunes will make you want to get up and boogie sending you momentarily to a retro flavoured soundscape of grooves, motown and untainted disco, provided by herself and her funky-full band. Jude makes her first appearance at Revolver on Thursday 25th October with a brilliant line up of songstresses, for a night of folk, funk and lovely ladies. Be sure to catch it!

Carousel Cup Day Celebrations featuring: The Coconut Rebellion/ Declan Sykes & Band & The Twoks

Come celebrate cup day with a fascinating line up at the Revolver bandroom.

Opening the evening is Melbourne drums and violin duo The Twoks. Having worked on their live show, melting hearts in Melbourne for the past year the band are excited to be dropping their new EP later this year.

House hold name Declan Sykes, who was Australia’s favourite contestant on the Australian X-Factor. The eccentric pop singer is previewing his original material with his band.

Heading the night is Melbourne 8 piece The Coconut rebellion will have you grooving with their reggae influenced tunes.

A fun line-up that will put you in the perfect mood for your post-race win or blues and the perfect excuse to dress up and dust off the corsage and fascinator.

Doors open at 7.30pm and Tickets are $8.00 bought before the event and $10.00 on the door.

No creatures are more outrageous than The Bennies, Kujo Kings and Phat Meegz. These elusive creatures are going on Skafari and will be on display on four dates across this vast land of ours. Not to be trapped to their confines, this Skafari will be all the craziness of each band tripled and rolled into one glorious evening of horns, guitars and the subsequent morning of tinnitus that you just can’t shake. Skafari takes in four dates on what is to be the last chance for the Australian punter to catch these delightful animals in 2012.
