Best New Worldwide Festivals
This year’s best new worldwide festivals.
Debuts can be hard. Worldwide festivals trying to squeeze in to one of the busiest markets can find it difficult to last, and festival goers can find it difficult to pick the right festival for them.
So we’ve done all the work for you. We have got the best five debut festivals for this summer all in one place with all the info you need. So show some support, and lets keep these going.
Malta Groovefest
The countdown is almost over. Groovefest is only one month away from making its debut on the sunny island of Malta. We probably don’t have to remind you but the line-up includes huge names such Jamie Jones, Hot Since 82 and MK.
The early bird tickets have all sold out and the V.I.P’s ones are gong fast for you luxury partiers. There are still plenty of standard tickets for you to get a hold of.

Sandalphon
Sandalphon is Australia’s newest festival, taking place over at Gold Coast Hinterland on the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend (1 to 3 October). There will be seven stages featuring everything from DJs to Bands to Hip-Hop acts.
The line-up hasn’t been announced just yet but they seem to be very excited about who they have. The big draw so far is the extras. There’s a one acre lake, an open air cinema and something called dob-the-dickhead (which looks like a lot of fun).

Bluedot
A new cosmic themed festival held in Cheshire, England, Bluedot “invites you to camp out under the stars, and to explore a stellar programme of music, science, arts, technology, culture, food and film.”
Sound interesting? The music alone is worth the ticket with the line up including DJ Shadow, Underworld and AIR amongst many more stellar acts. There will even be some scientists there to blow your mind.
