Tramlines Festival 2015
Set in the Yorkshire city of Sheffield, Tramlines Festival is popular for its eclectic line-up in a variety of venues and outdoor stages for a summer weekend to remember.
Taking place across the entire city, Tramlines welcomes established and up-and-coming acts to perform to ticket-holders, with previous names like Public Enemy, Katy B, the xx, Annie Mac and The Futureheads including it on their summer calendar. With a multitude of sites including the o2 Academy, Millennium Gallery, Yellow Arch Studios and the Sheffield College Youth Music Stage, every party is different and the fun never stops.
And, while many festivals could set you back a few hundred smackers, a three-day pass to all events and activities on offer at Tramlines costs just £30pp – and that’s definitely something to make a song and dance about.
From Friday 24th – Sunday 26th July, Tramlines returns in 2015 for its seventh stint as one of the most richly diverse festivals in the UK, with just as exciting a line-up as ever. Already announced on the roster are:
Buzzcocks
Sugarhill Gang
Melle Mel & Scorpio
Martha Reeves
West Street Mob
Billy Bragg
Dutch Uncles
Slaves
Jagaara
Marika Hackman
Roman Flugel
Knifeworld
Ghostpoet
This is just the first announcement, so keep an eye on www.tramlines.org.uk to find out more and get your ticket.
