Vivid LIVE & Red Bull Music Academy Present Giorgio Moroder

Grammy-award winning Giorgio Moroder will be making his Australian debut in Sydney, at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on the 1st June. Presented by Vivid LIVE and Red Bull Music Academy, the synth-disco legend will pump out his tunes that have changed the direction of dance music because of his disco-defining style at a one off sold out show.

At 74, Giorgio Moroder has produced music for iconic films such as Scarface, Top Gun and American Gigolo which have created great theme songs that are famous throughout as well as a catalogue of music that sets parties alight. This rare DJ set will see him draw from his amazing catalogue as well as bringing special guests to the stage who will be announced shortly.

The likes of David Bowie, Freddie Mercury and Cher, have had the pleasure of working alsongside Moroder and he was the the source behind some of their great hits as well as Donna Summer’s ‘I Feel Love’, ‘Love To Love You Baby’ and Blondie’s ‘Call Me’. His scene stealing performance in Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories is the reason for a fantastic return to music.

On the Vivid LIVE Studio night, the electric dreams of dance will be remixed by Moroder as he guides the audience through the lifetime of which he dedicated so much energy, time and passion.
