American comedian and television presenter Jimmy Kimmel surprisingly directed the video himself, and admitted that he was behind the epically stage video. He announced his role in the hoax live on television, and confessed how the edited video was released weeks ago.

The burnt twerking queen seen in the video is in fact a stunt-woman named Daphne Avalon. Neither Jimmy Kimmel or Ms Avalon Tweeted about the video before it went viral. Miley Cyrus was even blamed for unleashing the dangerous side effects of the dance move!

Now tons of people are tuning in to see the ‘Director’s Cut’ in which a proud looking Jimmy Kimmel appears at the end of the video with thumbs up.
