Heritage Trail

At the hub of the Swan Valley, Guildford is brimming with colonial charm. Follow the heritage trail passing historic pubs and quaint cottages. You can take a walk down the antique strip and browse the boutiques and art galleries.

Caversham Wildlife Park

For some family fun of the furry variety, head to Caversham Wildlife Park, home to one of Western Australia’s largest collections of native Australian wildlife where close encounters with koalas, wombats, kangaroos and a whole range of farm animals can be found.

Cycle around the Valley

With its wide open spaces, vineyard vistas and plenty of fresh country air, the Swan Valley is the perfect place for a cycle tour. The trail has four different routes.

A mind-blowing menagerie of mounted animalia waits at the fascinating Museum of Natural History and Academy of Taxidermy. A visit to Whiteman Park with its Revolutions Transport Heritage Museum, the Motor Museum of Western Australia and the Tractor Museum of Western Australia are some of the Museums you can visit.

In addition you can also Hop on (and off!) the Swan Valley Explorer which departs from Guildford Train Station. It makes its way around the Valley stopping at many of the region’s famous eateries, wineries, breweries and distilleries, enjoy a wild life encounter or play a game of golf.
