2014 Sydney St Patrick’s Day Parade
Sydney will be celebrating its Irishness on Sunday 16th March, when the St Patrick’s Day Parade floods the city.
From the first Irish fleet to step foot in Sydney in 1788 to famous Irish/Australians and the relationship between Ireland and Australia in the present day, the streets of Sydney will transform into a sea of white, orange and green with music and dancing. The party heads into Hyde Park North, where Irish bands and musicians will perform to visitors who can enjoy food and merchandise stands.
