Drop Bear Adventures: Day 1

After pick ups and a voyage on the Manta Ray Barge from Inskip Point, Rainbow Beach, set to cruise up the glorious 75-mile beach or 4wd the inland track (NB. dependent on tide times) to your home, Drop Bear’s Wilderness Camp. Grab your sleeping stuff, pick a tent, and indulge on a scrummy lunch before the adventures of the afternoon begin! A short drive and you will arrive at the entrance to Lake Wabby. Some 45-minute walk in through scrubland, forest and undulating sand dunes you will be met by the illustrious green Lake Wabby. Jump in, cool off and lark about with your newfound friends. Drop Bear Adventures: Day 2

Rise early to watch a stunning sunrise and be fed on a hearty breakfast to get you set for the day! Take a drive to the top end of the island where you will hear of the indigenous Butchella history synonymous to the island. Frolic in the soft seawater bubbles of the Champagne Pools and grab another belly full of food before cruising back down the beach to the Maheno Shipwreck. Spend the afternoon meandering down the cool waters of Eli Creek before a few games in the shallows. Back at camp enjoy a relaxing evening, hearty dinner and an evening of fun with your guide and camp mates.

Drop Bear Adventures: Day 3

The final day sees you visiting the worldly famous Lake McKenzie. After a thrilling driving through the inland tracks, jump into the pristine turquoise waters, kick back and relax, and take in all that this beautiful island has to offer. Before heading back to mainland Australia enjoy yet another yummy lunch and a cultural tour of the epic rainforest at Central Station.
