3 Days Surfing Europe’s Best Waves for Just €210

We had the chance to catch up with Emily Rathmanner, an American surfer and travel blogger, working on the trip for an insight of what the Van Surfari looks like.

“My day normally starts by waking up and cooking up a mean, fulfilling breakfast for the customers and crew,” highlighted Emily. “Imagine eggs benedict, corn fritters, or banana pancakes plus tea and coffee for some added energy and some good jams to get everyone pumped up for the day.

“We throw on our board shorts and bikinis, pile the boards in the Bluey the van, and hit the road to see where the waves are breaking best. Whether you’re a beginner or expert surfer, we will find the perfect break for you! We even offer lessons for those new to the sport, and plenty of beers for those who need some liquid confidence…

“Once we’re on the beach, maybe Hossegor in France or Zarautz in Spain, customers spend their time surfing, playing beach (and drinking) games, and soaking up that sweet Vitamin D! Don’t forget the tasty and local lunches, too.

“Slowly, the sun starts to set, and we either get comfy at camp playing card games and getting to know each other or hitting up the closest town for an inside look into the local party scene.
