3 Most Fun Jobs to Get when You Move to Las Vegas
There are probably few people out there who think of working and jobs and immediately associate those things with fun. Even when we find jobs we like, they can still eventually become like any other day-to-day bore.
We don’t mean to sound like a drag too much, but that’s just often the reality.
Except, of course, if you’re living and working in the truly unique and one-of-a-kind city of Las Vegas. Sure, you might say, it’s a city that never sleeps. It looks fun for tourists, but if you’re expecting me to work there and have fun while doing it, think again.
But wait! You haven’t heard us out yet. If you’ve already gotten one of the Las Vegas houses for sale or are thinking of doing so very soon, know that there is fun to be had in this city as a worker.
What jobs are we referring to, you ask? Let us tell you. Here are three of the most fun jobs you can get once you move to Las Vegas.
Casino Floor Staff
First up is the floor waitstaff at one of the Strip’s famous casinos. While some people might report feeling stressed on this kind of job with all the people constantly needing more drinks or other services, the work can actually be quite exhilarating!
You’re constantly in the hustle and bustle of a casino, which is a fun environment on its own. As you may know, casinos don’t like to have windows or clocks inside so that gamblers will lose track of time. If you’re working the floor at a casino, this same fact can make your time go by much faster!
With no shortage of people to serve, this is a fast-paced and exciting job where you just might have fun!
Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum Workers
Las Vegas is a city of entertainment, and maybe nowhere is that more evident than at Las Vegas’s Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. Even if you’re working the desk as a high school job, it’s just a fun place to be. People come to this famous chain of wax museums for the fun and bizarre experience of seeing the extreme likenesses of famous people made out of wax.
This museum even hires studio artists to make the wax figures themselves. If this is your specialty, then have at it, because there aren’t too many other jobs like this one in Las Vegas.
If we could call any job in Las Vegas fun, this would certainly be up there on the list, and that’s why it has made this list.
Tour Guides
We’ll say it again: Las Vegas is a city of entertainment, and with that in mind, the final fun job we’re bringing up here is that of a tour guide!
A tour guide of where, you ask? There are so many options. You can work at any of the museums or casinos in the city where there are environments or exhibits to learn about. The Mob Museum is a popular place where docents work to help visitors.
You can also serve as a tour guide for one of the many ghost tours in the city. How many people out there can say they show people ghostly places for a living?
