Day 1 

Alice Springs – Kings Canyon

Climb and explore Kings Canyon viewing the impressive formations and return to  Alice Springs after lunch.

Day 2 

Kings Canyon- Uluru

Enjoy an early walk around the base of Uluru or you might prefer a climb. Visit the Cultural Centre before travelling to Kings Canyon.

Day 3

Uluru – Alice Springs 

Travel to the Outback Camel Farm for an optional camel ride (at own expense).

Journey on to Uluru (Ayers Rock) and hike the ‘Valley of the Winds’ at Kata Tjuta (Olgas). Return in time to watch the desert sun set over Uluru. 

Day 4

Alice Springs

Enjoy a day at your leisure to relax or explore. Explore the Red Centre town of Alice Springs.

Day 5

Alice Springs- Boulia

Travel along the Plenty Highway, spotting wildlife and termite mounds on the way. Visit the Atitjere Aborigional Community at Jervois Cattle Station. Go to Alice Springs for your overnight accommodation.

Day 6

Boulia – Hughenden

Travel through Winton, the home of Waltzing Matilda. Visit the Information Centre (at own expense) before stopping for lunch at Middletown Pub. Travel to Wirrelyerna Cattle Station for your overnight accommodation.

Day 7

Hughenden to Cairns

Visit the beautiful Atherton Tablelands and go for a swim at Millstream Falls. Stop at the smallest pub in Australia at Lynd Junction. See Porcupine Gorge before arriving in Hughenden.
