Assistant in Nursing (NDIS homecare)

• Work with one consumer, at his home
• Regular, on-going work
• 12 hour shifts

We are seeking a team of experienced, mature-minded workers to provide 24 hour care (on a 12 hour roster) for a gentleman in his own home. Living with complex special needs, this consumer requires understanding from a dedicated and loyal support team.

Your duties will involve assisting the RN with providing the consumers daily care needs.

Essential requirements:

• Certificate III in Aged, Community or Disability Care (or)
• Extensive experience working in a similar home care environment (or)
• Currently studying as a nurse in your third year of study
• First Aid Certificate
• Evidence of manual handling training (or willingness to complete an on-line course)
• WWCC and NCHRC

Preference will be given to applicants that possess their own transport as access to the residence via public transport is very difficult
