Avicii’s True Tour Hits Australia!
Future Music and Frontier Touring Company have just let slip that Swedish Global superstar-DJ Avicii will be swinging by Australian shores at the beginning of 2014!
As part of his True Tour, the 23-year-old record breaker will be beginning the New Year as he means to go on, hitting Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne in January armed with monster tracks from his newly released album ‘True’.

In the wake of an incredible breakthrough in 2010 with global hit singles such as ‘Seek Bromance’ and ‘My Feelings For You’, Avicii – real name Tim Bergling – has barely been out of the charts since. The Swedish giant’s bedroom mixes originally caught the attention of club promoters when Bergling was still a youngster in high school, and since then he’s gained praise from world-renowned DJs like Tiësto and Pete Tong, remixed tracks for stars such as Dizzee Rascal and Little Boots and even embarked on an exclusive collaboration with fashion moguls Ralph Lauren.

The first track released from the album, ‘Wake Me Up’, peaked at #1 in a staggering 70 countries and has since sold over six million singles worldwide to date. The next single to follow, ‘You Make Me’, has also debuted at #12 on the ARIA Singles Chart, and the monumental DJ has collected over 250 million views on his YouTube videos from all across the globe.
